Job Description Summary

Provides expertise in sustained customer success and growth in the post-sales customer lifecycle through training, professional services, technical support, renewals, outcome attainment, retention, expansion, and customer advocacy with a Digital focus. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. This role will initially be highly focused on the testing cycle and in particular triage, retest of found defects across projects. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work across multiple projects with a focus on triage of defects, investigation of solutions and retesting.
  • Works towards building more expertise in assigned functions while meeting established performance objectives.
  • Under direct supervision, performs assigned system integration and testing tasks.
  • Under direct supervision, assists senior engineers in integrating software applications for customer.
  • Under direct supervision, assists in custom software development tasks.
  • Assists in diagnosing and fixing systems and applications problems.
  • Assists in project and system documentation efforts and internal testing.
  • Minimal direct customer interaction.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
  • May be required to work extended hours, carry cell phone and be on call.

Basic Qualifications

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have basic understanding of software systems and/or energy management systems.
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to dig in to research issues as needed.
  • Ability to shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
  • Experience with Unix, and/or Windows
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
  • Ability to occasionally work non-standard hours to accommodate business needs.
  • Travel (via car or airline) to US or international locations.
  • Must have utility experience
