Service Dispatcher Job at Ballard Natural Gas Service
Ballard Natural Gas is a leading HVAC contractor in the Greater Seattle/Bellevue Metro area. We currently have an opening for a service dispatcher to join our team. This position will help prepare you for future management roles. The position requires the ability to think on your feet, continually look for ways to improve efficiencies and profitability, and the desire for continued learning.

Pay Scale: $30.00 - $35.00 p/hr DOE

Primary Job Function: Maintain the Service Technicians daily schedules and dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed. Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in. Maintain the on call schedule for service technicians. Maintain customer database with current information. Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers apprised as to company schedule and requested lead-times. Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing information. Prepare service invoices and timecards for processing.
Work Hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, some overtime
Required Qualifications:
- Strong computer proficiency
- Project management, scheduling or similar experience preferred
- Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
- Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
- Management or supervisory experience preferred
