A Wister’s Server provides fast and flawless service to their guests while building relationships and creating a comfortable atmosphere to ensure a truly great dining experience. You'll need to be personable, upbeat and efficient, and be able to anticipate guest’s needs. Exceptional customer service in a fun environment is our standard!

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old with TABC permit
• Proven work experience as a wait staff
• Attend training for food/cocktail menu, POS training, and wine training
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction.
• Working knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system
• Outstanding people skills
• Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem-solving
• Must present a well-groomed appearance and maintain hygiene and dress code standards
• Proficient in time management and ability to prioritize ongoing tasks efficiently.
• Must have a sense of urgency and react to changing business demands.
• Must have the ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet customers. Make all our customers feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
• Inform customers of specials and menu changes
• Make recommendations you genuinely feel your customers will enjoy
• Up-sell food & beverage items using suggestive selling techniques
• Answer questions regarding food/drink preparation, taste, and ingredients, knowledge of possible allergens in ingredient lists.
• Take food and beverage orders from customers, accurately enter orders in our point-of-sale system.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to customers in a timely matter
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
• Maintain clean service areas
• Monitor and observe customers dining experience. Ensure customers are satisfied with the food and service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
• Prepare final bill, present check to customer, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers and support staff as situations arise
