Job Summary:
The Server provides outstanding service to patrons by taking menu orders, reviewing orders for accuracy and delivering orders speedily, accepting payments and making change. The server maintains a thorough knowledge of our menu, current promotions, and signature cocktails ensuring that patrons have a fun and overall great dining experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets patrons as they are seated; ensures the table/booth is clean and that menus, utensils, and other needs have been provided.
- Answers questions regarding the menu items and any recent changes.
- Inform patrons about any daily special going on.
- Takes food and beverage orders and ensure that they have arrived in the kitchen or bar.
- Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to patrons promptly.
- Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers’ satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen/bar.
- Routinely check back with their patrons- anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
- Collects plates and clears the table as patrons finish their meals.
- Prepares customers’ checks and collects payments.
- Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
- Must be able to use addition and subtraction to make quick change.

Education and Experience:
- Must be at least nineteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages).
- Previous experience as a server preferred.
- Must have or be willing to hold liquor permit or server certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
