Eklego is seeking a dedicated and hard-working Servers to join a team of professionals working in a direct-hire position at one of our Senior Care clients, specializing in Personal Care in the Honey Brook, PA area.

Current shift available 11:30am-8pm full time hours working every other weekend and holiday. Come be a part of a supportive team working in Personal Care and Skilled dining areas.

The Servers primary purpose is to perform services to residents, guests, and staff in the dining operations. Dining Room Servers will set-up, maintain proper cleanliness and safety in all dining areas, while providing the highest degree of care.

What will I do as a Server?

• Organize and set up dining room and beverage area for meal service
• Assists in helping residents select from menu as needed
• Assist as needed with special set-up and clean-up functions
• Sets up and resets tables daily
• Assist cooks in the overall appearance of plate (i.e., garnish correct food items, portion size, etc.)
• Use proper techniques in meal service in Dining Room (i.e., serve from left, remove from right, serve courses in proper order, etc.)
• Perform cleanup of work area including dishes, worktable, and steam table, to required sanitary standards
• Carries service trays in and out of kitchen, dining room and service stations during entire shift
• Assists in the assemble and completion of carry-out and delivery meals as needed
• Keep Dining room Service Areas clean and sanitized according to the Health Department Codes

Requires:

• Previous Food Service industry experience preferred.
• Possess and exhibit a strong positive attitude toward customer service and a genuine interest in geriatric care and uphold the philosophy of the community.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures and maintain a safety-first mindset.
