It’s a great time to join the Systems Engineering and Integration Team at JRC. We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to work on an exciting new development project supporting our Navy customer. For this critical role we offer a hybrid work schedule (40% remote) and a competitive compensation (salary range from $150,000 to $165,000) and benefits package.
As Senior Systems Engineer at JRC you will...
Develop requirements and schedules, integration strategies, policies, and products for ACAT I DoD programs
Perform requirements analysis and assessment of detailed designs
Perform trade studies and analysis of alternatives
Collect and develop program status and metrics updates for senior leader and external program reporting
Develop, maintain, issue and track system engineering priorities including agenda, minutes and action items as required
Coordinate with program stakeholders including other customer contractors/partners
Develop and review documentation and supporting material for technical accuracy including robust Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint files
Format specifications, directives, and correspondence in accordance with Navy manual
What you bring to the table...
A BS in Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent years of experience
10+ years of related professional experience
A demonstrated ability to analyze processes and implement improvement strategies
Excellent communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with senior government staff and industry partners
A Secret security clearance (or above) or recently held a clearance and remain in favorable status

Familiarization with National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) roles and responsibilities pertaining to the Nuclear Weapons Council’s (NWC) Procedural Guideline for the Phase 6.X Process
