Description

Active member of the Operating Room Team in providing quality surgical patient care, assisting in the maintenance of safe and aseptic surgical environment and observing and teaching other surgical team members in proper surgical technique. Reports to department director.

Required qualifications:

• Completion of accredited surgical technologist program
• National Certified Surgical First Assistant - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire or
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 2 years current experience as a registered surgical technologist
• Recent completion of an accredited surgical technologist program may be considered as current experience
