Senior Sales Enablement Manager Job at Hummingbird

Hummingbird Remote

Hummingbird is a remote-first, fully distributed team united by the shared mission of helping fight financial crime. Since our launch in 2017, we’ve helped major financial institutions and tech-savvy trailblazers alike (e.g. Stripe, Affirm, etc.) orchestrate their compliance programs through our thoughtfully designed, intuitive SaaS product. We believe finding and stopping financial crime is a problem rooted in code, language and design, so we built the product that the heroes doing this work deserve.

We are customer-obsessed, and we love building and shipping great products. We set a high bar, challenge our assumptions, seek diverse opinions, and support each other to do our best work.

We do our best to write inclusive, descriptive and accurate job descriptions, but we’re not always perfect. If you’re interested in the role, we’d love to hear from you even if you don’t feel like you meet everything we’re looking for. We’re always iterating and improving, and it’s possible that your experience is even more impactful than we could have imagined.

About the Role

As our first dedicated Sales Enablement Manager, you will be a strategic performance consultant — working cross-functionally to increase sales results and productivity through content creation and delivery, training, and coaching services through technology, creativity, and thoughtful, intentional execution.

You'll have the opportunity to manage and shape foundational programs like sales onboarding, as well as design, build, and implement the highest-value content and continuous training programs for our fast-growing sales organization. You’ll work directly with our Head of Product Marketing, Sales Management, and Sales Ops on mission-critical projects, owning the creation and implementation of your efforts as well as measuring the results and business impacts.

What you’re looking to do:

  • Build and own the Sales Enablement function for a high-performance, rapidly-growing SaaS startup. You’ll define the business requirements across sales functions to develop impactful enablement solutions.
  • Create and manage programs for scale. Our sales team is growing, and you’ll build continuous learning programs to support enablement for both the immediate future and as we grow.
  • Create and deliver both effective customer-facing sales assets and internal guides (e.g. slide decks, collateral, playbooks, battle cards) — developing compelling narratives and resonant messaging in partnership with PMMs and other teams
  • Program manage sales onboarding — developing curriculum, creating and delivering content, measuring performance, identifying areas for efficiency and consistency to build in a way that scales
  • Get creative. You enjoy getting deep in the weeds to understand our sales team’s needs, and you think outside the box to develop creative solutions to address underlying needs.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting enterprise B2B sales teams with a deep understanding of best practices around the sales process, sales cycles, methodologies, and the sales funnel
  • Experience creating and delivering instructor-led sales training with strong presentation skills, including the ability to own the room confidently and hold people's attention
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal — demonstrating clarity of thought and ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to look at the big picture to find efficiencies — identify opportunities for creating templates, repeatable processes, and finding ways to run programs more efficiently
  • Bias for action; a self-learner who can dissect gaps, identify solutions, and drive solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong analytical skills to connect sales enablement metrics to growing pipeline and revenue

What’s in it for you:

  • The chance to help build from the ground up. The hires we’re making now are foundational to our growth as a company, so you will have an opportunity to help shape the future of Hummingbird.
  • Competitive compensation including cash and equity.
  • Remote-first, fully distributed company with flexible working hours.
  • Awesome health, vision & dental benefits, and 401k.
  • Safe, respectful & comfortable work environment with colleagues and leadership who prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please don't hesitate to contact us to request accommodation.
