General Job Description:

Quality Assurance Analysts are a vital link between Archer’s technology capabilities and our client partner’s needs ensuring successful analysis, business requirement documentation, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication. The role is within the Product and Technology team and will play a critical role in assisting with defining more thorough requirements and tightening up the link between the business requirements and the technical requirements. Creating thorough cases and requirements that demonstrate the identified problems with a clear playback picture allowing technology to fully understand the problems being solved. The job will also require the analyst to use light SQL coding to better understand the problems being solved.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Archer client experience team in defining functional requirements that partner the business requirements with the technical requirements.
  • Create use cases for technical documentation for developers and QA team
  • Draw workflow documents/flow charts
  • Actively participate in requirement elicitation articulating current state and future state
  • Identify, manage, and escalate (where appropriate) project risks and issues associated with requirements gathering, analysis, and design
  • A clear understanding of Quality Assurance, Change Management, and Compliance

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst with 1+ within the financial sector
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or computer science is preferred
  • A Business Analyst or PMP certification preferred
  • Experience with JIRA or another software project management workflow package required
  • Light SQL query coding experience to analyze data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Continuous process improvement and quality control enhancements
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail
  • Experience working under tight timelines, producing accurate results, and mitigating risks
  • Adaptable and confident individual with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to the greater good, take ownership of solutions
  • Self-starter, self-finisher, ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive, with an ability to prioritize and manage several open projects at once
