Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) division is currently seeking a Lead Power Distribution Engineer. This is a hybrid position and can be based within a 50 mile radius of Glendale Heights, IL, Houston, TX, or Wilsonville, OR.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77,249.97-$113,299.96 a year.

What you’ll do:
Skills to produce the following:
- Equipment Specifications
- Single line drawings
- Three-line drawings
- Schematics
- Wiring/Interconnection diagrams
- Conduit/cable plans
- AC/DC Control power drawings
- SCADA
- Grounding drawings/details
- Equipment Testing Procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of three (3) years of design experience
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the work location(s) listed on the posting. No relocation is being offered for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least Five (5) years of design experience
- EIT or PE License
- Field experience in testing/commissioning medium voltage equipment
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Bluebeam, ProjectWise.
