Federal Working Group Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer. To ensure success as a Senior Network Security Engineer, you should have extensive experience with cloud technology migrations, network security assessments, traffic segmentation, and federated networks. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have solid problem-solving skills, extensive knowledge of cloud computing technologies, and an understanding of system development/integrations.

Experience:

  • Expert experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining routing protocols
  • Expert experience with configuring, implementing, migrating, maintaining Firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and F5 appliances, WA
  • Extensive experience supporting the design, migration/upgrades, and maintaining of enterprise networks
  • Solid experience implementing traffic segmentation and micro- segmentation design
  • Solid Experience with designing, implementing, or managing SDI/SD-Wan architectures/ NextGen/ LTE/5G wireless technologies
  • Hand-on experience managing and supporting a federated network architecture/centralized network architecture
  • Knowledgeable with network architecture Tiers
  • Experience with Software-defined networking
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53 or CIS standards
  • Familiarity with Remote Access solutions and capabilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting network assessment (NIST 800-53; CIS Standards)
  • Designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise network
  • Managing and maintaining Layer 2 and Layer3 development of large scale IPv4 and IPv6 networks
  • Managing and supporting BGP Routing and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)
  • Securing Transport via VPN/IPSec with IDS/IPS integration
  • Supporting Enterprise Network Functions such as DNS, DHCP, NTP and PTP
  • Supporting Integration of enterprise network with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Managing Legacy TDM communication (serial, T1/E1, analog voice) migration to SD-WAN/SDI
  • Supporting TDM to IP solutions (such as Circuit emulation via Circuit to Packet Devices)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with 12+ years of specific as a WAN network architect
  • Masters Degree with a minimum of 10+ years of specific experience as a WAN network architect
