Position Overview:

Mate Precision Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for product and process development activities for our various product lines. This person will provide critical support in the drive for improved quality and cost reductions through the use of automated systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Design manufacturing processes with a focus on reliability and cost.
  • Identify areas for process improvement.
  • Works cross functionally to support product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Consults with vendors to determine product specifications.
  • Arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts.
  • Evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Analyze and estimate production times, staffing requirements and related costs.
  • Lead projects, teams and events when needed or requested.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Preferably in industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer/ Professional, preferably in a machining and metal fabrication manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Experience working with Oracle, Esprit and Solidworks preferred.
  • Experience with or understanding of CNC machining.
  • Experience in a machining high precision environment preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing cost analysis and accounting systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of quality and inspection systems including GD&T and its application preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing automation processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project Management software experience preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross functionally on company projects.


Pay/Benefits:

  • $90,000 - $110,000/Year
