Opportunity Overview

Cohere is looking for a Senior Manager of Strategic Accounts to play an important role in strategic account management and growth as we bring on new health plan and risk bearing provider customers. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Accounts, this is a critical role in a Series B company and a unique opportunity to not only strengthen your strategic account management skills, but to use your business acumen to help us accelerate growth with new customers. You will have a direct impact in the growth of the company and our ability to impact more patients at a time in their healthcare journey when they need help most.

What you will do:

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, both externally with key customer accounts and within Cohere
  • Act as a key relationship owner for key Cohere accounts, ensuring that we well positioned and set up for success and growth
  • Rapidly develop materials including polished decks to communicate with Cohere's customers, refining and clarifying the message to ensure it resonates with your accounts
  • Support evaluation of expansion options with customers, including all considerations (financial, operational, etc.)
  • Support development of business cases, ROI analyses, and ad hoc analyses in relation to customer opportunities
  • Develop and iterate on account plans and stakeholder engagement plans for critical accounts
  • Partner with teams across Cohere to tell our value story and help make this value known to our customers
  • Provide support to implementation and customer success teams, including partnership on monitoring project plans, driving work forward, and reporting out on progress
  • Have deep understanding of Cohere business and products, allowing you to identify any additional opportunities for growth based on customer needs

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree. Masters degree a plus
  • 5-10 years of experience working for a top-tier consulting firm, big-tech company, or similar environment
  • Significant experience working in healthcare, preferable with health plans
  • Strong relationship builder and communicator, both for internal and external relationships
  • Experience at a startup and comfort in ambiguous situations
  • Self-directed, confident, and thrive working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Analytical mindset and ability to build strong business cases in support of customer growth
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with demanding customer expectations
  • Willingness to help with anything that is needed and to be flexible as customer needs shift
  • Passion for driving change in the healthcare industry
  • Role can be based in Boston or remote, with willingness to travel ~25% - 50% of time
