The Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition is responsible for the management and execution of the recruitment processes across assigned functions within the organization. In this role, the Senior Manager will build successful relationships with business leaders and HR Business Partners to ensure that all client groups have the talent needed to meet their strategic objectives. This individual will coordinate strategies, policies, and programs for recruitment activity.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle talent acquisition for exempt and non-exempt positions across the organization.
  • Develop influential relationships with hiring managers and business leaders ensuring a focus on talent needs and fulfillment of open positions.
  • Continuously evolve the recruiting process by reviewing and recommending new approaches to talent acquisition that align with market trends and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Determine metrics, deliver analytics and reporting to accurately reflect the talent acquisition cycle.
  • Participate in planning discussions regarding recruitment priorities and strategies, in partnership with HR Business Partners and Sr. Manager Recruiting Operations.
  • Draft and review content development of communication materials to be utilized in the recruitment process such as presentations, websites, and other collateral to ensure accuracy and creativity.
  • Develop mechanisms to identify new and emerging talent markets and create relationships to leverage, in order to build a pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Support recruiters in the development, negotiation, and preparation of new hire offers.
  • Ensure compliance will all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintains regular communication with all parties involved in the hiring process to ensure maximum candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Foster a team-focus attitude that seeks to build a reputation based on high performance and business partnership/consulting
  • Carry his/her own requisition load, as business needs require.
  • Partner with VP to manage and drive vendor relationships i.e. Managed Service Providers
  • Other duties or projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities, Competencies

  • Comprehensive understanding of recruiting/operations practices, programs, and plans
  • Comprehensive knowledge of staffing and recruiting program administration
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state laws and regulations relating to employment
  • Demonstrated experience with behavioral-based interviewing techniques
  • Experience with social recruiting is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of technology-driven recruiting solutions and internet-based recruiting tools
  • Ability to effectively manage and direct multiple priorities and deadlines

Education and Experience : Minimum

  • Bachelor's Degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) in a business-related field.
  • 7 years of progressive HR experience, including Talent Acquisition
  • 2 years of recruitment management experience in a medium to large corporate recruiting environment

Education and Experience : Preferred

  • Master's Degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) in a business-related field.
