Job Title: Sr Logistics Operations Manager Functional Area: Operations

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer FLSA status: Salary exempt

Position Summary:

Our company is looking for a talented and qualified logistics managers to join our senior management team. In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain management duties to move our cruise clients from one destination to another by the planning of routes to meet pre-set time schedules, selecting suppliers, capacity analysis and assessing budgets.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong attention to detail in order to oversee daily operations and logistics employees. The hours for this position are Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

· Planning daily routes based on current and projected passenger counts to and from the Port Canaveral cruise ship terminals

· Scheduling of pre-approved suppliers for planned routes with cost efficiency

· Updating of forecasting sheets with passenger counts and routes

· Evaluating budgets and expenditures

· Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements

· Managing logistics employees who execute the operational plan

· Responding to any issues or incidents

· Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations

REQUIREMENTS:

· BA/BS degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field or equivalent supervisory work experience.

· A minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with proven success.

· Thorough knowledge of our services.

Physical demands and Environment:

· (Regularly) required to use hands for repetitive computer keyboard use, mouse use and to perform simple grasping

· (Regularly) required to have close visual acuity

· (Occasionally) required to stand, squat, kneel, push, pull and reach above and below shoulder level

· (Occasionally) required to bend and twist at the neck and waist

· (Occasionally) required to lift and/or carry up to 45 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
