Senior Information Security Analyst -Washington, DC
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Management. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of BA/BS degree
Required Experience: 7 years experience in IT Security Assessment
Work Location: Washington DC
Required Clearance: Active Top Secret
Job Description / Responsibilities:
Lead the Security Compliance Assessment activities for a branch performing science and technology research and development. Lead, plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. Assess compliance of tested systems against approved security plans. Document and maintain individual system security plans within the customer’s compliance system. Liaise with other departments, branches, and Agencies to share information and best practices to improve enterprise security posture. May ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. May respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security principles, methods, and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience performing vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and threat intelligence analysis
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in guard, firewall, host, and network Intrusion Detection/Protection Systems, Penetration Testing, Cyber Hunt activities, Risk and Vulnerability Assessments
  • Security architecture and design assessment
  • Security documentation creation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of change control processes and methods
  • Team leadership and facilitation
  • Must possess current CISSP certification
  • Must possess current CASP certification
  • Must meet 8570 certification requirements IASAE Lvl II within 90 days of hire
