This position is virtual with the expectation of on-site in person hybrid presence at least one time per week. This position is based out of either Reston or Chantilly, VA offices.

Responsibilities:

The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the business goals as well as out-in-front partnering with the business to shape and contribute to best practice solutioning, through:

  • Reporting to the Director of HR and supporting a variety of programs across the operating group developing solutions and implementing best practices in employee relations, talent management including succession planning, talent development, gap analysis and mitigation, compensation strategies and training.
  • As a key member of the HR team, you will work closely and collaboratively to form a robust trust-based partnership with our program managers, division leadership, functional teams, and our employees to manage the day-to-day across the business. You will also provide leadership and guidance to a HR mid-level team member in day-to-day implementation and execution activities via a matrix role.
  • Provide insight, recommendations and solutions in all people management topics including employee relations, talent management & development, performance management & improvement, hiring and termination decisions.
  • Analysis of trends and metrics using dashboards and HR data to provide fact-based recommendations, reporting and analytics for management decision making based on organizational needs.
  • Proactively recommend new approaches, policies, and practices, demonstrating continual improvements in the efficiency of HR services and the overall business performance and quality of the employee experience.
  • Partner to improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying issues or concerns, evaluating potential solutions, coaching, and counseling both managers and employees.
  • Identify and develop training and other best practice recommendations for performance improvement and employee engagement, implement programs as necessary to achieve the standards of CACI values.
  • Maintain internal tracking logs to identify trends and patterns; partner with leadership to implement an appropriate course of corrective action in advance of significant events.
  • Partner early in work surges and contract losses impacting the workforce and drive to excellence a redeployment success culture.

  • Lead pro-actively, as a solution architect and visionary implementing industry best practices and beyond.
  • Competently analyze data for trends, create reports for briefing leaders and decision making from your recommendations through charts and presentations on based on analytics.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of and responsibility for legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or equivalent. In addition, candidate must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, in the Government Contracting space, supporting an employee base of 2,000 or more.
  • Broad and thorough HR subject matter expertise in principles and practices of Human Resources including understanding of government contracting rules and regulations and how they affect employees, employee programs and practices (i.e., EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, FAR, SCA).
  • Proven background with consulting skills with experience in coaching, influencing, and building effective relationships and while the ability to earn the confidence and trust of others by delivering on commitments, able to break down complex issues into easy-to-understand messages, adaptable to ambiguity and changing situations while demonstrating decorum and high standards of ethical conduct.
  • Pro-active solution designer and deliverer who takes initiative and is resourceful in creating and implementing solutions that deliver both short & long-term results focus.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills with an ability to diagnose and support data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to keep on top of many tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while leading imperatives and objectives having excellent planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel locally based on specific and last-minute business requirements.
