Casper's Ice Cream is growing! To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! As a Senior Financial Analyst you provide leadership to the accounting department and give both tactical and strategic accounting support to corporate officers.

Essential Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Utilize accounting software and forecasting software to assist in making data-driven decisions
• Assist in profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for annual budgeting and monthly yearend re-forecast, product and customer demand
• Develop financial models, reports, and metrics through benchmarking and process analysis including but not limited to weekly flash reports, commodity cost metrics and trade promotion effectiveness
• Forecast weekly rolling 13-week cash flow
• Analyze monthly profit and loss statement variances against budget and forecast
• Assist in the development of CAPEX/ROI model
• Prepare cost projections
• Analyze and report on current financial status
• Proactive financial planning and forecasting based on historical dataset.
• Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning
• Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas for improvement
• Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)
• Review accounting transactions for data accuracy

Remote Available: Strongly prefer candidates located within reasonable travel distance from corporate headquarters in Richmond, Utah (will require minimum 1 day per week in office)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role within a manufacturing environment
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Relevant certification (e.g., CFA) preferred
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Demonstrable strategic thinking skills: Ability to present fact-based scenarios to management
• Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
• Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
• Familiarity with financial databases
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
• Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
