RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior CrowdStrike Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

Summary:
The Senior CrowdStrike Deployment Engineer is integral for the further securing of Endpoints. This job entails rolling out CrowdStrike to some 3800+ EUCs and 600- servers. CS will replace our existing enterprise solution and must be done seamlessly, while the existing solution continues to run until replaced by CS. This will also entail setting up and configuring the dashboard, setting up key user accounts, designing, deploying, and troubleshooting the implementation of CS and the removal of the current AV solution, addressing any additional issues that may arise.

The Senior CrowdStrike Deployment Engineer is also responsible for ongoing organizational improvement efforts including any actions necessary to further lock down the endpoints.

The Senior CrowdStrike Deployment Engineer needs to know how a Dental Organization (or other healthcare organization) functions including some experience with various Dental Practice Management Systems (DPMS). They also need to be self-motivating, and to work and communicate well with others, be keen to drill down into the details, and proactively advocate for the organization to move toward the big picture of Cyber Security.

Projects:

• CrowdStrike Deployment
• Monitor progress of EUC deployment
• Write meaningful and easy-to-follow SOPs, following the MITRE standard
• Write easy-to-understand policies that are practical and enforceable
• Assist with CrowdStrike Admin Training of various consoles/dashboards

Day to Day:

• Configure various CS dashboards
• Deploy CS to 3600+ EUCs and 500+ servers
• Attend Daily Standups, report progress or lack thereof, roadblocks, potential issues
• Follow the Project Tasks set up for this project
• Document all work
• Remediate any vulnerabilities that are discovered
• Write up SOPs to document how to set up various CS components

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or other related fields
• 3 - 5 years in a Cyber Security Engineering role specifically working with CrowdStrike; Experience deploying CrowdStrike in an enterprise environment is an absolute requirement

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to build relationships
• Willingness and ability to take on and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Desire to build a more secure environment that is still user friendly
• Excellent understanding of Cyber Security
• Experience working with and/or the ability to learn various tool sets

Preferable:

• Minimum 5 years of general IT experience
• 5 years of troubleshooting CrowdStrike
• 2 - 5 years in a Healthcare environment
• Previous experience deploying CrowdStrike to 2000+ EUCs
• Ability to easily learn new toolsets

Working conditions/physical demands:

• Travel - infrequent if any

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
