CORPORATE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Description

Essential Functions:
1) Maintains Treasury Systems and Controls
a. Maintains various online Bank Portals
b. Supervises daily cash movements between various entities
c. Transmits positive pay, direct deposit and other payment files
d. Forecasts daily cash availability
e. Reviews completed bank reconciliations completed ensuring timely follow up on any reconciling items
2) Reviews journal entries and accounts payable transactions.
3) Supervises month end close procedures including:
a. Analytical variance analysis of key expense accounts
b. Fixed & intangible asset tracking, along with calculation of depreciation and amortization
c. Preparation and completion of financial statements for various related party real estate entities.
d. Reconciliation of various related party accounts
4) Assists with financial and accounting advisory services to Senior Leadership.
5) Works with external auditors to complete year end audit.
6) Assists in the preparation of annual income tax and compliance filings.
7) Assists in the preparation of Budgets (Operating and Capital).
8) Ad hoc reporting as required to support management decision making.
9) Assists with project management activities to implement new procedures and software to make processes more efficient and improve performance.

Education:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.

Experience:
A minimum of five years of professional experience.
Public accounting experience is preferred

Certifications:
CPA license is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,947.48 - $95,637.99 per year
