As a member of the Knowledge Management Department, the Senior KM Coordinator provides support to the KM Innovation department by coordinating administrative tasks and initiatives including presentations, procedures manuals, orientation materials, practice group reports and KM department statistics. This role will be eligible for a hybrid remote work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Updating KM department materials including standard documents, presentations and procedures manuals:

  • Assists in updating and organizing training materials, multi-media visual aids and other educational materials designed to meet objectives established by the KM department and legal practice groups. Distributes orientation materials as needed.
  • Coordinates training sessions and meeting room set-up (in all Fox office locations), in conjunction with IS, Talent Management and other admin groups. Schedules meetings with attorneys; creates calendar announcements/reminders.
  • Coordinates practice group meetings and KM office visit needs; tracks projects and progress.
  • Assist with keeping content on FoxNet current, including KM related forms/documents, KM Innovation homepage and KM team site content.
  • Responsible for updates to KM specific administrative materials: standard templates, billing guide, etc.

Meeting Preparation, Presentations & Lateral Updates:

  • Prepares monthly KM updates and agendas for Innovation Committee, Associate Innovation Task Force and senior management.
  • Coordinates preparation of agenda items for KM department meetings.
  • Prepares monthly KM newsletter: Innovation Insights.
  • Coordinates KM merger checklist process.
  • Updates KM Attorney Orientation and Departure Portals; kicks off workflow for department and keeps CKIO apprised of status updates.

Statistics and Reports:

  • Compiles reports and statistics on KM department projects and tasks, including Lateral Integration and ROI for Innovation initiatives.
  • Assists with collating and creating budget summaries for legal departments and KM Annual Report.
  • Participates in special projects as assigned.
  • Monitors workflow; responds and completes department requests.
  • Provides comprehensive legal and business research using a variety of on-line and print resources.
  • Precisely and intelligently communicates the results of research requests to the requestors.
  • Provides general support for KM tools and resources (i.e Westkm. Intranet, etc.).

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinates design and ordering of KM related promotional items.
  • Liaises with administrative groups on projects as needed.
  • Act as an ambassador of the department during regular interaction with attorneys and staff

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

Education:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies or related studies a plus

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant office work experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility in switching gears for assignments and reprioritizing due to business needs in a fast paced work environment
  • Highly organized in approach to tasks and status tracking
  • High level of customer service
  • Familiarity and experience with SharePoint a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of available resources and tools in order to meet the information needs of the firm in the most cost effective and timely means possible.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • The Firm maintains a COVID-19 vaccination policy. If unvaccinated, a mask will not be required to be worn in the office unless required by local or state government.
