Within Capital One, the Shopping team is working on a new consumer product that seeks to change the way people buy things online. We are looking for a Senior Associate of Product Management to contribute to an agenda that will supercharge user growth. You will have the opportunity to drive industry-leading strategies across a suite of digital marketing channels, building best-in-class experiences in user acquisition, onboarding, and retention.

To be successful in the role, you will be a well-rounded 'business athlete’ - a creative, analytical, and technically proficient problem solver who understands both the dynamics of the business and the tech landscape. The ideal candidate is resourceful, motivated, and self-sufficient, with demonstrated success in spearheading cross-functional projects that drive the growth and success of a business.

General Responsibilities:

• Become an expert in internal tooling and operations related to user onboarding

• Identify, prioritize, and launch innovative experiences designed to optimize user conversion and acquisition

• Drive product ideation, analysis, and development in partnership with business analysis and software development teams

• Manage to results by establishing a business model based on following the data

• Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the goals can be ambiguous and the process fluid

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience

• At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering

• 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer facing digital products

• 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences

• 1+ years working with cross functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Location is New York City

• $108,669 and $128,205 for Sr. Associate, Product Management

Location is Colorado

• $92,115 and $108,675 for Sr. Associate, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
