SENIOR ASSOCIATE FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Family Law Motions Court practice
• Prepare, conduct, review, and respond to discovery
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Attend in-person and Zoom hearings, status conferences, mediations, and trials
• Provide expert legal counsel to clients
• Negotiate settlements
• Engage in potential client consultations
• Comply with all legal standards and Rules of Professional Responsibility

SENIOR FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Actively licensed and in good standing with The State Bar of California
• A minimum of seven full years representing clients with family law matters in CA
• Commutable to San Jose and Fremont offices and courts
• Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid-remote work environment
• You have a demonstrated ability to provide innovative solutions to complex legal questions with empathy, compassion, and professionalism
• You have a knack for problem-solving with an analytical thought process
• You are passionate about engaging in oral and written advocacy
• You quickly recognize the urgency of situations and independently determine appropriately actionable remedies
• You always show pride in your work product with solid attention to detail.
• You are self-motivated, ethical, and reliable to the firm, its clients, opposing parties, court officials, and the community
• You are a team player with the capability to work collaboratively and unassisted.
