This role handles essential tasks, such as financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities

• Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Partake in various department-wide initiatives
• Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
• Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
• Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
• Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
• Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
• Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
• SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
• Practical knowledge of US GAAP
• General familiarity with Revenue Recognition Policies
• Background working with variance analysis
• Revenue recognition experience highly desired
• Foundational knowledge in Proper Revenue Recognition
• Microsoft Excel experience
• CPA experience
• Adeptness in Revenue Recognition Accounting
• Solid understanding of ASC 606
• Internal Control experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Revenue Recognition Guidance
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
• Skilled at time management
• 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
• Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
• Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Experience with ERP systems
• Vow to meet business deadlines
