AMERICAN SECURITY GROUP is one of the regions fastest growing American/ Virginia owned & based contract security companies!! And we are looking for an experienced Security Manager to join our Richmond, VA team. This position requires discipline and job related experience. We prefer someone with prior Military, Law Enforcement or related Security experience. (Minimum 10 years preferred) This person will assist with oversight and manage all areas of uniform operations.

Responsibilities
- Security Supervision - Regular staff and post inspections
- Compliance of staff, recruitment
- Employee On-Boarding, Scheduling
- Attend regular customer and staff meetings
- Maintain our great employee relationships/ morale
- Be at least 21 years of age;
- High School Diploma or GED required, BS/BA preferred
- 10+ years experience in security/ LE preferred - must have experience managing staff/ supervisory exp
- Experience with people - customer service
- Effective written and verbal communication - must speak fluent English
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- US Citizen
- Must have very clean VA DMV Driving Record and a valid VA Drivers License
- May be required to take a Medical Physical and a Physical Fitness Test
- Required to take an on-site written exam and oral interview
- Must pass an online job fit assessment test
- May be required to take a pre-employment drug screen
- Current Armed DCJS Registration- preferred
