Job Title: Scientist I/II

Job Overview: We are seeking a professional like you for a technical laboratory position to provide analytical support for manufacturing, application, customer service, and development teams. You’ll report to the analytical and material science Technical Manager. During your 75-hour bi-weekly work schedule.

Job Duties:

• Be responsible for projects related to proof of principle to demonstrate feasibility
• Manage assignments for prints defects and finished projects related to customer claims and complaints
• Utilize appropriate project management systems to maintain reporting ad status updates
• Document all experimental work in a lab notebook using established best practices
• Write reports to communicate findings
• Rigorously follow EH&S standards, laboratory procedures, and identify safety improvements

Required Education & Experinece:

• Strong background in organic and physical chemistry
• Minimum of 7 years of analytical lab experience with a background in analytical methodologies
• Knowledgeable in sustainability issues, Surface Science, and formulated products
• Microscopy and Spectroscopy analytical techniques
• PhD in chemistry or biochemistry
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Good analytical and math skills
• Good organizational and administrative skills
• Problem solving
