The Behavior Technician provides behavioral support services in the school setting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides personal care and behavioral assistance/interventions to assigned student(s).Assisting students with: oClass room activitiesoGroomingoEating/Meal preparationoToiletingAssisting with ambulation and transfer servicesManagement of assault/difficult behaviorCrisis InterventionEncouraging IndependenceMaintaining student safetyImplementation of behavioral plansChanges in assignment due to client request must be verifiedBehavior Technician is to confirm schedule weekly with Maxim office staff.Documents care per Maxim policies and proceduresCommunication notes or incident logs are filled out and turned in on a timely basis when necessary.Other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements: High School diploma or its equivalent.Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.Current CPR card.Successful completion of Company testing processSuccessful completion of background screening and hiring process.
