The SAP CPQ Senior Consultant is an experienced member of the SAP team at eLogic who produces results with little oversight. Working closely with the Managing Partner for the SAP practice who creates the vision for the solution area, and the Director who executes the strategic vision, the Senior Consultant shapes and delivers the department objectives.

Specifically, this is a client-facing position and will function as a CPQ consultant with hands-on information gathering and scoping with the client. Based on the information gathered, you will be responsible for implementing the solution using approved eLogic methodology and best practices.

Senior Consultants frequently:

• Shape incoming work from business needs and opportunities to solution deliverables
• Lead teleconferences and workshops that are company, customer or solution specific
• Drive work to customer value: Lead technical solutioning within project teams; Document design and implementation details; Escalate issues before they adversely impact projects
• Help to continually improve our practice: Continuous development of own skills; Mentor and assist in development of juniors; Stay current on evolving SAP product offerings; Contribute to knowledge base and lead by example; Adhere to Methodologies – Embrace Quality
  

What technical skills do I need?

Required

• 2+ years of hands-on SAP CPQ experience
• 4+ years of SAP QTC (Quote to Cash) experience
• Proven experience deploying effective SAP CPQ business solutions for global enterprises against a fixed project timeline, scope, and budget
• Experience defining system strategy, system requirements, test plans, training plans, and support procedures
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of SAP CPQ including product configuration, pricing, quote configuration, workflows, approval rules, document generation and responsive templates
• Conversant in key application integrations: ERP, CRM, Commerce

Preferred

• Experience working with integrations to and from SAP system environments
• Experience in Iron Python
• Familiarity with the industrial manufacturing industry as well as industry-specific requirements and challenges (especially configure-to-order and engineer-to-order commerce)
• Experience with SAP variant configuration functional integration to project systems, sales and distribution (especially pricing), production planning, classification, costing and engineering change management
• Experience with third party CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) applications
• Knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, ABAP or C# programming
• SAP ERP knowledge of any of the following: SAP VC, SAP AVC, SAP SD, SAP MM

• Polished and effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and training ability
• Project estimating and customer communication
• Performing business /technical assessments and lead customer workshops
• Generating functional and technical specification documents, testing scenarios and other consulting documentation
• Being a self-starter is a must
• Time and priority management skills
