The sanitation team member is a member of a cleaning crew whose duties are to clean and sanitize food processing equipment.

The supervisor will assit in leading the daily activities in the 3rd Shift Sanitation department of the organization and completes/reviews the daily sanitation paperwork. The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all machines and equipment prior to and following a production run; this includes the setup of production and packaging lines to ensure cleanliness and proper set-up for production.

The Sanitation Supervisor is required to work in an environment that is wet, very humid, and undergoes temperature changes, from hot to cold. Due to the changing environment, a team member must constantly be aware of the affects of these changes.

The Sanitation Supervisor will also be working around large processing equipment in which chemicals will be used to complete the sanitation process.

The Sanitation Supervisor must be able to work as a team along with other members of the crew, be flexible and willing to perform varying tasks per the manager's instructions and in accordance with all safety guidelines mandated by the employer.

This full time position has medical, dental, vision, disability insurance with vacation, holiday pay and a 401K retirement plan, plus an additional $1.00 per hour for third shift.
