We currently have an opening for a Sales Support and Integration Specialist. In this role, you will be a member of a diverse team working to advance the usefulness and integration of traditional backhaul satellite communications systems into an integral part of a remote and diverse digital network. Your work will directly contribute to the application of data and voice networking to a diverse set of applications across land and maritime industries including public safety, shipping, government, fishing industry, yachting and other industries requiring networks when no terrestrial infrastructure exists. The role includes working with the products, testing the products, applying new technologies to the products, and working with the Product Line Director, Engineering, Customer Support, and the Business Development Team.

Responsibilities:
  • Train to become a subject matter expert on the ThalesLINK product line.
  • Assists in analyzing system requirements and reviews technical product/project specifications to assess and evaluate overall test objectives. Understands complete product requirements, leading to identification and implementation of test configurations, including hardware, firmware, documentation, licenses, etc.
  • Integrate new, cutting edge technologies with the ThalesLINK product.
  • Recreate fielded use cases for improved implementations.
  • Test new features in known fielded installations and future planned installations.
  • Verifies software changes requested from users.
  • Work directly with Users to resolve novel installations and understand potential issues with the implementation.
  • Lean to interpret system logs.
  • Support Customer Service on complex trouble tickets received from users in the field
Provide subject matter expertise in the following areas:
  • Computer Networking
  • Satellite industry
  • Testing methods
  • Willing to learn rudimentary scripting of test tools
Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance.
  • Formal training with Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience or training with supporting product field support functions pertaining to equipment operation, integration, training, and troubleshooting.
  • The desired candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills. - Fluent in English
  • Must have solid work habits, ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience in Networking.
  • Prior experience in system integration, networked systems, and technical troubleshooting is ideal.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
