Outside Sales Representative
DLP Services is looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Outside Sales Representative to generate leads and drive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a sales plan that develops a healthy customer base with aggressive account penetration throughout assigned territory.
- Generate new business leads by networking and by attending local events.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training, workshops, and industry events.
- Maintain an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
- Travel within assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
- Delivery of proposals, and presentations to prospective customers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms and prepare sales agreements.
- Responsible to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Makes every effort to resolve client concerns quickly and efficiently; manages account services through quality checks.
- Consistent professional appearance and demeanor are vital.
Qualifications:
- Proven outside sales experience. Janitorial services industry preferred.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are required.
- Proven consultative experience.
- Must have knowledge of and experience in market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and web-based Zoom.
- Able to travel within assigned territory and work hours needed to close sales.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record. MVR will be reviewed by Company’s auto insurance carrier periodically.
Compensation:
Pay will be commensurate with experience. Fixed salary and variable compensation. Details to follow.
This position will be based in El Paso, TX. Travel required as needed to other areas in Texas.
