In this role, They will also be responsible for sourcing sales leads and prospecting for additional business opportunities in the market while working with the Vice Presidents of Sales to set strategies for new and existing account growth.

Responsibilities:

• Contact current and potential customers for new business opportunities
• Secure a working knowledge of the customer's products, needs and policies.
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers
• Manage multiple deliveries, process spot requests and develop new sales
• Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally
• Negotiate pay rates with shipping customers that follow the guidelines
• Work with the transportation brokers to maximize the volume of loads from new customers through ongoing sales meetings and strategy sessions.
• Use our state-of-the-art software to detail all potential account information.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Sales experience within Transportation
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Skilled in conceptual thinking, problem-solving, analytical thinking and project management
