SUMMARY:

Responsible for the support and coordination of the development and continuous improvement of Sales and Business Development structures and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the development of the Sales organization
• These items will include but not be limited to helping to develop the structure of the department, create offer templates, pricing structure, and SAP support
• Train the Sales team on the processes used at BW to create an aligned global process.
• Support the Director of Business Development in delivering timely and accurate quotes to US based customers, while keeping close alignment to the sales team at BW
• Act as a liaison between BW, NB and BUS sales teams for quotes, requests, issues and best practice
• Support the Director of Business Development in customer visits and customer interface.
• Act as a liaison between the North office and the production plant in plant issues, projects or support to or from the production plant.
• Assist the Director of Business Development in tasks necessary for obtaining OEMs plating approvals.
• Support of the BUS production plant regarding business development related projects and items, e.g. conceptualization and development of marketing materials or procedures to support our customers.
• Help establish processes that will satisfy global requirements for all of customers based on a deep understanding of the US customers specific requirements, processes and procedures.
• Other duties assigned in order to ensure operations run efficient

QUALIFICATIONS:

• This position requires a B.S. Degree in Sales/Marketing or closely related field or comparable.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of sales/marketing experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience working with European OEM’s/suppliers preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Extensive experience in sales and marketing field within the automotive industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels
• Ability to travel extensively and on short notice to support customer needs
• Excellent attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, which may include: climbing stairs/ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, standing, and lifting. Ability to safely work in areas that are subjected to hazardous chemicals and machinery
• Physically capable of lifting, pulling, pushing up to 50 pounds without injury
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

• Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
• Schedule: Day Shift
• Weekly Overtime: As needed.
• Weekend Work: As needed.
• Assignment Start: ASAP
