East West Tea is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Sales Support and Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team to engage in the fast-paced, detailed work of creating and managing marketing and sales tools and processes for our team.


ROLE SUMMARY

The Sales Coordinator serves a vital role collaborating with both the marketing and sales teams. This instrumental team member provides and supports the tools that enable the sales team to deliver top-notch quality and service to our customers, as well as assisting with brand teams’ special projects execution. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for partnering with trade and brand marketing to provide project and sales & marketing support for internal, consumer and customer activities. Working cross functionally with both internal and external partners, they will report to the Trade Marketing Manager. WHAT YOU’LL OWN:

Marketing & Sales Support

  • Working closely with sales and marketing, be the lead on coordinating, developing, and approving sales materials including sell sheets, launch kits, tradeshow items, displays, samples, etc.
  • Support marketing in the creation and execution of special projects e.g., promotional items, gift and sampler packs, branded giveaways.
  • Coordinate product-launch sample distribution kits for sales.
  • Manage retailer and distributor trade shows. Includes show administration and new materials creation to support new launches and branded initiatives.
  • Coordinate and update branded sales materials and presentations including PowerPoint slides (Brand 101 presentations, sustainably initiatives, community partner updates)
  • Manage our Business Sales email inbox and voicemail, directing to the relevant parties and responding as needed.
  • Maintain price lists, sales collateral, and additional sales materials.

Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Administration & Sales Reporting

  • Administrator role for TPM system
  • Investigate nightly error reports, coordinating with relevant departments
  • Responsible for hierarchy maintenance and accuracy
  • Ensure accurate data reported in TPM, both sales and spend
  • Test & implement new releases
  • Maintain TPM system user profiles as well as conduct new and ongoing user training
  • Utilize TPM data to develop further trade spend analysis for trade marketing and sales team use
  • Support TPM ad hoc projects for the team as well as proactively explore opportunities to add trade insight and support, e.g., review customer spend and share trends,
  • Manage trade checks process through TPM & Concur
  • Point person to identify & implement areas of improvement between TPM & ERP, as well as recommend new features in TPM system; comfort working with IT department to communicate structural requirements
  • Update and distribute reports. Includes trade spend reports, Finance Dashboard and sales reports, both internal and external, ensuring accuracy. Includes KeHE, UNFI ClearVue and others.
  • Administrator role for customer systems.

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED:

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Trade Promotion Management experience, ideal
  • Background in Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG) preferred but not required
