Summary

The Sales Administrator is responsible for performing day-to-day administration tasks with a primary focus on sales orders, inventory, and customer service. They will assist in the facilitation of transactions while ensuring both accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.

** NOTE - This is a Hybrid role whereby time will be split between home and at the office location **

Responsibilities

  • Processing orders that have been received by phone or email, including arranging shipments, handling customer service issues, and updating records
  • Tracking inventory levels to ensure that orders are filled accurately and efficiently
  • Entering order details into computerized accounting systems
  • Communicating with customers about order status and shipping details as required
  • Process orders, reviewing all information to ensure accuracy, and liaising with internal stakeholders to provide correct documentation.
  • Liaise with Investors and dealers to provide pricing on current inventory, sell equipment and collect payment information.
  • Coordinate with A/R to provide sales orders and process payments for purchase of equipment.
  • Provide pertinent pre-sales information and documentation to Account Managers to help facilitate a sale.
  • Support marketing initiatives, as needed.
  • Frequently work with our Account Managers to manage requests for pricing
  • Connect regularly with account managers and buyers to ensure product information is accurate
  • Provide administrative support to our Account Managers including proposal creation, sales campaign execution, reports, and other various tasks.
  • Order management including entry, revisions, and cancellations.
  • Work effectively independently and within a team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in an office administration role with previous experience within sales coordination being a strong asset
  • High school diploma or GED needed; Post-Secondary Education preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as within team environment
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to become forklift certified
