We are seeking a Safety Trainer to assist our team with training and coaching staff on safety procedures. As a company, we put a high value on safety and expect our employees to take all precautions to ensure our workplace is risk-free. The Safety Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing safe work practices, so we are looking for an experienced professional with strong writing skills to create and deliver training sessions that educate staff about potential hazards and show them how to prevent accidents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in training employees on OSHA regulations.
- Assess the risk of a workplace hazard and develop a plan for dealing with it.
- Work with outside consultants to ensure the company's compliance with OSHA guidelines.
- Train employees on first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques, as well as on accident prevention techniques.
- Negotiate with insurance companies over coverage of workplace accidents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,002.43 - $45,766.37 per year
