SAFETY SITTER Job at LifeBridge Health
Position Summary:
Functions under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team to directly observe and correctly redirect assigned patient. Promptly and effectively communicates with patient, family, and visitors. Remains alert and attentive to patient and patient safety. Takes appropriate action to maintain a safe environment at all time. Safety Sitter does not perform ADLs, documentation, or caregiver functions.
Essential Functions:
Required: Works under supervision of the charge nurse, RN and/or unit leader
Contacts: Frequent contacts, within or outside the Company.
Requires tact, discretion, and working knowledge of Company procedures and policies.
Qualifications/Requirements
Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED Equivalent or High School certificate
Location: LifeBridge Health · NURSING FLOAT/STAFFI
Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
