JOB SUMMARY

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining hotel room cleanliness, including but not limited to making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, and vacuuming.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Smile, acknowledge, and greet guests in passing in rooms, hallways, and other public areas
• Clean guest rooms, including but not limited to stripping beds of all linens and remaking with fresh linens, cleaning the bathroom and closets, gathering and emptying trash, cleaning mirrors, dusting furniture and fixtures including wall hangings, cleaning hard floor areas, and vacuuming
• Replenish guest rooms with amenities, supplies, linens, and terry in accordance with Company standards
• Respond to guest requests for additional supplies and amenities
• Keep storage areas, caddies, and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
• Setup carts with supplies
• Complete daily shift checklists and update assignment sheet of status of room
• Other duties as assigned

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES

• Sonreír, reconocer y saludar a los huéspedes al pasar por las habitaciones, los pasillos y otras áreas públicas
• Limpiar las habitaciones de los huéspedes, retirar toda la ropa blanca de las camas y volver a hacer las camas con ropa de cama limpia, limpiar el baño y los armarios, recolectar y vaciar la basura, limpiar los espejos, limpiar el polvo de los muebles y accesorios, incluidos los percheros, limpiar las áreas de piso de mosaico y pasar la aspiradora
• Reabastecer las habitaciones con productos de tocador, insumos, ropa de cama y toallas según las normas de la Empresa
• Responder a los pedidos de insumos y servicios adicionales realizados por los huéspedes
• Mantener las áreas, los contenedores y los carros de almacenamiento con stock suficiente, limpios y ordenados
• Preparar los carros con insumos
• Completar las listas de verificación diaria del turno y actualizar la planilla de asignaciones del estado de las habitaciones
