Robotics Infrastructure Team Lead Job at Motional
Mission Summary
As lead of the Robotics Infrastructure team, you will lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and management of high performance core libraries and tooling for internal teams used for on- and off-vehicle use, as well as help guide the development of common libraries across Motional. You will be at the forefront for user inquiry and design with stakeholders across our autonomy, infrastructure, and cloud teams. You will use your knowledge and experience in people leadership, vision and goal setting, and driving execution to build and guide a team of engineers toward creating solid, performant, and useable core libraries and infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
- You will lead and grow a team of Software Engineers to bringing Motional's next generation core infrastructure to life
- You will work closely with your colleagues across the engineering organization to help them understand and best utilize the this infrastructure
- You will set the vision and mission of the team, manage the team's planning and execution of work, and ensure organizational goals are being met
- Your experience in personnel leadership will help the group stay engaged, evolve, and adapt to meet new challenges across the organization
