Description
This position is responsible for general labor work with broiler farms while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
This position is responsible to catch, vaccinate, and pulling test fluid (blood/fat) samples. This position is also responsible for filing water tank daily, picking up vaccine, completing charge out forms, mixing vaccines, preparing houses prior to the vaccination process, clean machines daily, and clean as needed. Position will assist with techs on the farms and any other duties assigned by management. This position will complete paperwork as needed. Candidate must be capable of bending, squatting, pulling, lifting, prolonged walking, and standing, manual dexterity , lift up to 50 pounds and carry on back, valid drivers license without any points against their license, able to work well with others and demonstrate good communication skills. Must be able to work in dusty environment and in inclement weather, withstand strong ammonia smell in houses, work weekends if necessary, meet required hygiene, PPE, and safety procedures at all times.
