Ochsner Medical Complex - Clearview is conveniently located within Clearview City Center in the heart of Metairie, Louisiana, and is a patient-centered healthcare destination that brings a multitude of services, amenities and wellness offerings into one location.
The new, three-story medical complex has a comprehensive suite of services and specialties all under one roof. Features include an outpatient surgery unit, an outpatient catheterization lab, an endoscopy area and a comprehensive pain management center. Patients can also receive outpatient infusion treatments for migraines and other conditions. The complex features a variety of clinical programs as well as health and wellness offerings.
Education
- Required - Registered nurse diploma (RN)
- Preferred - Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or BSN
RN Work Experience
Required - 2 years of relevant experience working in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Certifications
- Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
Job Duties
- Uses the nursing process effectively in the delivery of patient care.
- Coordinates clinical operations on the unit.
- Communicates critical issues to appropriate parties.
- Manages and develops employees.
- Effectively manages resources.
- Performs other related duties as required.
