Our Surgical Services department is actively searching for a staff RN to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing surgical procedures based on the Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. This Nursing care encompasses the biophysical, psychosocial, cultural, self-care, teaching and continuing care needs of the patients as appropriate to age and diagnosis. The RN utilizes the nursing process and the standards of care established by the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN), the American Association of Paranesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) and Atlantic General Hospital.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have an active RN licensure, Healthcare Provider CPR certification and ACLS certification. A Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) degree is required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire.
