Job Description


Moneta is searching for a service-minded Finance professional to join one of our Partner teams as a Retirement Plan Client Service Manager. As a Client Service Manager for one of our Retirement Plan teams, you will work directly with the team’s Advisors and Partners on a wide spectrum of projects that are focused on the client’s and participant’s needs. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists Advisors and Partners in daily operations and has a comprehensive understanding of team processes and procedures
  • Acts as a liaison between the team Advisors and Partners and other team client service managers
  • Has a basic understanding of qualified retirement plans including 401(k), Profit Sharing programs, etc.
  • Has established rapport with all assigned clients as a trusted liaison between the client and their Advisor and/or Partner
  • Demonstrates knowledge consistent with preparation of retirement plan fiduciary reviews
  • Works directly with third-party Custodians and Advisors to meet critical project and industry deadlines
  • Seeks ongoing industry knowledge through internal classes provided in MonetaU, and relevant designations and licenses
  • Communicates with clients, plan participants, TPAs, and recordkeepers
  • Prepares client reviews, investment allocation summaries, meeting agendas, executive summaries, and investment performance reports
  • Coordinates scheduling client or team meetings, client group and individual education meeting, and education webinars
  • Discusses and organizes action items following client reviews with the Advisor
  • Assists in preparation of client engagement agreements, Investment Policy Statements, and vendor applications/agreements
  • Sets up and maintains accurate client data in Salesforce, client fee bill system, and various financial interface reporting systems
  • Prepares fee invoices, coordinates compliance approval, and payment for client accounts
  • Assists Advisor with new client onboarding processes, paperwork, and meetings
  • Assists with semi-annual non-recommended holdings due diligence and assets under management reports and coordinates compliance approval
  • Coordinates with various other team members and departments to ensure proper data entry and flow through various reporting systems

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance field
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience working in a team environment preferred
  • Must be professional, personable, well organized, and have a strong attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset and ease working with numbers
  • Ability to be resourceful and flexible in interactions
  • Commitment to ‘Raving Fan’ service
