Overview:

The Dry Sink is seeking a top-notch Store Manager with an exceptional ability to manage all aspects of a retail store, including sales staff, inventory, and store sales.

The Dry Sink is a wonderful retail store located on Main Street in the gorgeous mountain town of Highlands, NC, and primarily sells kitchenware, along with gadgets, pajamas, home goods, and so much more!

Scope of the Job and Requirements:

We are looking for a powerhouse – an energetic, go-getter who will take this opportunity with passion and run with it. Candidate must have retail management experience and a flexible schedule. Must be energetic, innovative, tech savvy (Excel, Word and Retail Pro experience is a plus) and highly organized - able to accomplish varied projects and tasks. The ideal candidate should love cooking, gadgets, homeware, fashion and more! We want you to know what is hot in the marketplace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Coaching, managing, teaching, and motivating a team of sales associates – completing sales goals paperwork on a daily, monthly, and annual basis

· Recruiting, hiring, and maintaining sales staff for the store on an ongoing basis

· Making sales and keeping track of clientele for yourself and other sales associates

· Ensuring that customer service is kept at a premium level - the best in town

· Maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the store, including restocking the floor regularly to create the best presentation

· Assisting the buyers in creating and maintaining the visual merchandising of the displays and windows

· Working with buyers to create sales events and incentives

· Being proactive and always a step ahead of what’s going on

· Solve store level problems and keep the store running smoothly every day

· Maintaining social media posts 2-3 times/week

· Maintaining inventory levels for monthly sales
