Retail Store Manager

Location: Somers Point

Shift: Full-Time

Salary: Salary: $50,000 - $70,000.00 per year (+ bonus & tips)

Overview:

We are looking for someone to join our leadership team. As Store Manager you will lead a team to create and maintain a memorable customer experience. In order to be successful in this position, you are obsessed with details and systems, thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, and are direct and strategic when delegating tasks to employees.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years as a successful retail manager
  • 3+ years experience in liquor industry environment OR strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits through food and beverage experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to quickly understand and skillfully use a POS system
  • Customer management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Inventory/ Product Management:

  • Purchasing
  • Ensure product is received, checked in, and posted into the system properly
  • Maintain an organized and orderly stock both on the store floor and back stock areas
  • Merchandising
  • Pricing
  • Regularly take and manage inventory and ensure overall accuracy

Leadership:

  • Train new employees and provide ongoing education/support
  • Manage all store operations and delegate responsibilities
  • Lead employees in daily pre-shift meetings to review important updates, announcements, procedures, etc.
  • Manage a team of approximately 25 employees
  • Coordinate and delegate tasks to execute local deliveries

Customer Service:

  • Maintain a culture of high-level customer care; take ownership of all customer needs
  • Continually strive to provide a superior experience for all customers
  • Handle customer complaints and queries in a professional manner

Sales and Scheduling:

  • Create, implement, and manage strategies in order hit monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Take ownership of Team scheduling for the store within an allotted budget

Bar Management

  • Ensure that each part of menu is being updated on-time and with product that sparks interest and excitement for our customers
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness and accurate inventory of all product and materials behind the bar
  • Lead by example in following all necessary protocols, customer service etiquette, and overall bar best practices.
