Working to meet the health and nutritional needs of women, children and families with information, education, and quality care, MFHS is currently seeking a Full Time Retail Store Coordinator for our WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program in the Southeastern PA Region (Bucks, Montgomery, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties).

This position will require extensive travel to retail stores throughout the southeastern counties approximately 60%-70% of the work week. The remainder of hours during the week can be used for follow-up reporting and other tasks and may be done remotely working from home if preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Store Coordinator is responsible for a variety of specialized functions in support of WIC retail stores.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Process onsite inspections, reviews, and certifications of WIC retail stores according to required timelines, including initial and reauthorization inspections, monitoring reviews, Level 3 certifications, and follow-up inspections.

· Provide training to WIC retail stores, including new store training, and annual required training to all retail stores in group settings. Assure that WIC authorized stores are trained in the WIC Program regulations, policies and procedures.

· Provide guidance to retail stores regarding WIC rules and regulations, answer questions from retail stores, handle complaints concerning retail stores with a goal of resolving issues and working in collaboration with retail partners to promote a positive experience for WIC participants and grocers.

· Maintain accurate and timely WIC retail records and documentation in coordination with WIC Retail Manager, and PA Bureau of WIC.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.

· Associates Degree preferred by not required

· 1-3 years’ experience preferred

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

· Child Abuse, PA Criminal Record & FBI Clearances

· Drivers License and insured automobile

  • Excellent verbal communication skills for public speaking, large group presentations, etc.

· Excellent customer service skills

· Basic math skills such as adding, subtraction, division and reducing fractions

· Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly

· Constant standing, turning, twisting, reaching and sitting for long periods of time

· Occasional pushing, pulling, squatting and walking
