Advanced Battery Systems is a great place to work! We are located in Inglewood, California and have over 35 years experience providing batteries and accessories for automotive, industrial, commercial, medical, and other markets.

We are looking for an enthusiastic customer service associate who is a dependable, punctual self-starter with excellent listening, communication, and reading skills. The successful applicant enjoys working with the public, is extremely detailed-oriented and highly-organized.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting customers on the telephone, via email, and in our small, low-traffic showroom.
• Interacting with customers to determine the appropriate products for their needs.
• Using a computer to enter orders and look up customer accounts, product information, and prices.
• Handling purchases and returns, testing batteries, and keeping the small sales area presentable.
• General office tasks such as copying, filing, handling mail, and keeping the office clean and tidy.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills
• Retail or office experience preferred
• Automotive and/or battery knowledge a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
• Availability to work some selected weekends and holidays
• Only applicants who complete the Indeed skills screening will be considered.
