Restoration Technician/Carpenter

We are hiring technicians and skilled carpenters to join our team. Our company focuses on historic restoration, woodworking and related carpentry -- specifically we restore and build historic windows and doors. We are passionate about our craft and bringing historic buildings and homes back to life. Some of our notable jobs include the Alamo, King Ranch, LBJ White House, 6 different Courthouses and O Henry Museum.

Window Tech: No experience required- we can train you! Hard working, good with your hands, attention to detail, professional and positive attitudes are key. We are looking to diversify our team - WOMEN that includes you!

Experience/skills we are looking for:
1. Fine woodworking, experience making windows, doors, furniture- experience required for this position
2. Trim carpentry
3. General shop woodworking skills
4. Painting - brush and spray
5. Glazing putty application
6. Other advanced woodworking skills

This job involves extraction of windows, scraping, sanding, repairs, painting, glazing, reinstallation. Pay rate is typically $15 to $25/hr depending on experience.

This job includes working at our shop and site work. Some travel and overnights may be required.

Our current location is located at 2039 Airport Blvd, Austin 78722. We are in the process of relocating to Coupland, TX and anticipate moving between August 2022 and February 2023. Our new location is 116 Hoxie St., Coupland, TX 78615.

Requirements: Good work history and references. Must be responsible, professional, have integrity, the ability to hustle and work intensely, while not compromising the quality of your work. Must listen and learn quickly and execute with efficiency and accuracy. Great attitude and team member. Also must have a great sense of humor and be willing to have fun! College experience is always a plus!
