Job Description:
Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Research Project Assistant to join the Clinical Chemistry Core.
Job Responsibilities
  • Processing biological specimens for testing
  • Maintenance of Clinical Chemistry Core (CCC) and PBRC Biorepository programs
  • Management of central laboratory processes associated with clinical trials
  • Development of laboratory processes and documents for assigned clinical trials
  • Field support of clinical trials conducted in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Defense
  • General laboratory maintenance and quality control
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, or health related field
