Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION:
To participate in recruitment of participants, scheduling, screenings, research evaluations
They will also contribute to data tabulation, analysis, and preparation of scholarly products
All tasks will be done under the supervisions of the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator
May perform tasks related to the research project independently, but within specific guidelines and subject to review by supervisor or other research staff.
SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTABILITY:
Involves no responsibility or authority for the direction of others.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Internal contacts are with a variety of staff, faculty and students.
External contacts are with study participants.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • As required to participate in screenings, research evaluations, and data tabulation collection under the supervisions of the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator
  • Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the project
  • Assist with management equipment and supply inventories
  • Manage and respond to project related email
  • Attend project meetings
CORE COMPETENCIES:
  • Knowledge of the research techniques related to the purpose of the study
  • Ability to think critically and take the best course of action in the research
  • Competency in both oral and written English to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious work relations with faculty, staff, students and Customers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, neuroscience, psychology, behavioral biology, chemistry, or related field
Must be able to commit to project for 1 full year or longer
